Using a view camera

 

In many ways, a view camera is the most perfect, one could say, the ultimate camera. It is precisely for this reason that it has been used in a largely unchanged form since the beginning of photography and it is the only type of traditional, film camera still in production (albeit speaking of film an digital cameras is slightly misleading as in most cases the only difference is the graflock back vs a digital back). At the same time, it is a camera that offers no help to the user, at the same time enabling and necessitating complete control over the process.
